Who is mum at Mumbl?

In marketing by trade, I’m a Gold Coast mum that loves music, photography, sewing and my fairly newfound love of being a mummy to a cheeky and ridiculously clever 2.5 year old, and a cranky, non-sleeping but endlessly loveable 4 month old.

At the ripe old age of 35 I’m an old fart of a new mum but I’m also somewhat of an expert at being married, having wed my soul-mate and even-older-fart husband at the baby-faced age of 20 all those years ago on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

I’m a bit of a Pinterest tragic, and I hope to share with you some of my Pinterest wins and fails when it comes to sewing (mostly little girls’ clothes), crochet, kids’ art and crafts and maybe, just maybe I’ll attempt some recipes – but let’s not get too excited about my cooking skills, when it comes to food I mostly just pin pretty pictures of gooey chocolate things I want to shove in my face.

I’m about to head back to a ‘real’ job part time so stay tuned for rants on the impossible art of finding that work/life balance with two kids in daycare.

Please note that my posts touch on things like breastfeeding, tongue ties, reflux, newborn baby sleep patterns, toddler behaviour, toilet training, finance (or just spending money you don’t have) etc etc. These are anecdotes written from my own personal experience and are not intended as medical, financial or professional advice in any way – if you need help with any of these things, please seek out the right professional for your needs. If you need support to get you through your own battles, or just plain old mummy advice from someone who’s been there, please feel free to leave a comment on my posts.

Enjoy the the parenthood ride. It may not seem like it sometimes from some of my deeper writings, but I most certainly do.

Stacey
